I think your heart is in the right place, first of all. Where do you live? I have gone to worship at a churches that were of other denominations before and stood out, but the Pastor & congregation were so extremely welcoming!! Sure, I felt awkward at first, but when I went in, I realized that we were all there for the same reason. The Lord knows your heart and I really don't think you would encounter those types of questions. Good luck to you!
