Is it time to change the 2/3 majority to override a Presidential veto?

After AMERICANS regain the House and Senate at the next election, should they change the 2/3 majority to override a Presidential veto to a straight up or down vote? I ask this since Obama and the Democrats are are dispensing with those pesky rules and procedures anyway. The Democrats are ignoring the system of checks and balances that the Founding Fathers were smart enough to put into place to prohibit tyranny from the ruling party.
