Are there side effects from lengthening the cell replication cycle? And if so what?

As no evidence suggested TTO only targeted mutated cells, therefore it is reasonable to question: whilst suppressing cell cycle at the G1 phase may be beneficial in cancerous cells as it allows the cell to check for cellular damage and repair if not induce apoptosis; in healthy cells, the cell replication cycle would be lengthened as a result, what potential side effects would that provoke?
